Alto blends sporty driving with strong environmental performance. Alto is powered by an all-new, all alloy three cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine producing peak power output of 50kW. Which delivers low fuel consumption, low emissions with a an engaging and responsive drive.
Fuel Economy
Extremely fuel efficient, one tank of fuel allows you to drive the Alto for more than 725km¹. The Euro-IV compliant engine emits only 110g of CO2 per km², making Alto one of the “greenest” cars in Australia, even when compared with petrol-electric hybrids and diesel models.
6 Airbags
Alto provides enhanced safety for all occupants all around, with dual front, front side and side curtain airbags. Front airbags are designed to protect the driver and front passenger in a frontal collision while front side airbags protect occupants in a side collision. Side curtain airbags cushion and protect occupants’ heads and also help shield occupants from broken side glass.
Electronic Stability Control
ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is standard on the Alto. To maximize the driver's control and make driving safer in various conditions, ESC is designed to maintain the vehicle's directional stability when cornering or during emergency avoidance manoeuvres. ¹Calculation based on fuel tank capacity and combined average fuel consumption according to ADR. 4.7L/100km (manual), 5.3L/100km (automatic). ²Manual transmission, 126g/km automatic.
